Moving help needed

So I'm moving myself, my daughter, and a portion of my stuff out of here over the next two weeks.

And, wouldn't you know it, I woke up yesterday to a spasming back. I can barely move my body without whimpering.

The most time-dependent move is for 12/23, when I drive down to New Jersey to visit my parents. I want to bring stuff that I'm going to store there.

That involves a kitchen table (and maybe chairs as well) strapped to the roof of my station wagon, a carved antique table IN the car, a large Oriental rug, and several boxes of china.

Other items I need to move (locally, not to NJ) are a large pine armoire, a mahogany dresser, a double bed frame, two double mattresses and a box spring, a large mirror, and several MORE boxes of kitchen goods.

I am going to need help, and lots of it, I think.

I am strongly considering renting a van, but I'll still need help lifting and carrying and stuff.

Anyone? Please?

I'm afraid I'm not much good at the physical stuff (between my back, knee, lack of balance and shakiness), but I can offer my van for moving purposes.

That would be FANTASTIC -- it's going to be a lot easier to move the armoire (which is light, being made of thin pine, although bulky) if I DON'T have to strap it to the roof of a station wagon!
