Goths in cowboy hats

rikibethFor some reason I don't know and probably don't want to know, the monthly goth night at the Webster Underground is no longer called Bound, but Dark Millennium. Fine, whatever.
For some other reason I don't know, they still think it necessary to have a monthly theme. Since nobody bothers to dress for it much, I can't see why.
This last Saturday's was Go West. "Leather cowboys and vinyl Indians," they said.
What they got? About what you'd expect: a couple of curvy girls in bra, panties, and chaps, and a half-dozen others in standard gothy club clothes who'd stuck cowboy hats on top.
Including me, actually. Since I have a very nice black leather cowboy hat with silver conchos, after all.

cherrybutterfly and number42, but madraxus, and Libby, and a couple of VERY plastered friends of hers, Heather and Julie, who were awfully cute. And stompy dancing was had.
Next month is "Back to School," which means that everyone will drag out their plaid miniskirts. Um, yeah, including me.
Themes. A Jedi craves not these things.
