rikibethI may have mentioned to some of you that I gave my former place of employment six months, tops, to stay in business without me there.
It closed last week.
WIth no notice to the employees, either. According to Shauna, with FOOD still left in the fridges.
And the boss hadn't paid her unemployment benefits.
Rumor from Kevin is that she sold the place about a month ago. Which is to say, right about when I left.
I can't say I'm surprised. She was on COD with all her suppliers, the paychecks were bouncing about half the time on first presentation, and she was far bitchier than even chronic pain could account for, FAR out of proportion to any errors I was making.
Damn, I'm glad to be out of there!
