Okay, it was really too cold for that.

But the sun was shining, and it's April, and I couldn't resist.

So I went for the first ride of the year with the top down on Candy-O.

I stuck to surface roads -- I wasn't really ready for highway speeds in this weather, especially with my hair wet from a shower.

But it's possible to get to the Webster Theater on surface roads, so I picked up the concert ticket for [livejournal.com profile] eternaleponine, and from there it was a straight shot on New Britain Ave. to the Bed Bath & Beyond out by Westfarms, so I could do it easily.

With Green Day blasting, courtesy of PopTart (my iPod) and a cassette adapter.

I figure if I have to endure heavy rap bass from cars with their windows SHUT, people can deal with a passing Green Day zone. And it just seems like convertible music to me.

I will admit that I had to blast the heat to be comfortable.

But it was worth it.
