Unpacking and stuff
Three boxes done, all clothes.
If I make a serious enough dent, I'm going to Flux tonight. Anybody want to come along?
cherrybutterfly, I'm looking at you.
Pandora continues to entertain me a lot. I must be weird, though. Alkaline Trio is one of my favorite bands, but everything it casts up as similar (hard rock roots, punk influences, subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation and mixed electric and acoustic instrumentation, is how they described "This Could Be Love"), like, say, Beautiful Creatures or Papa Roach? I think those SUCK.
Right now, though, I think it's time for lunch.

I agree with the Pandora assessment I've seen elsewhere, that it would be really really cool if they'd let you select your own "music genes" for inclusion rather than just trying to infer from songs/bands you like. That might help eliminate some bands that have some things in common with your favorites and yet still manage to suck. *grin*
I'm enjoying hearing about your experiences with it, can you tell?

Now, if I only had a way of telling it definitively, "no Cookie Monster death metal voice," THAT would be something.

Of course, you may have other plans for Tuesday anyway.
