Cream cheese brownies

Baker's One-Bowl Brownies, the recipe cut in half to make an 8x8 pan instead of a 9x13 pan. Also, Ghirardelli Unsweetened instead of Baker's chocolate, because that is what I had in the cupboard.

In halving "three eggs," I used one egg and one egg white. Because the other egg yolk went into the mixer with an 8-ounce package of cream cheese, half a cup of sugar, and half a teaspoon of vanilla.

That... was more cream cheese than I expected. They're in the oven for 45 minutes. I'm not confident they'll be done by then, but I'm dead certain they won't be done before.

Since [livejournal.com profile] eternaleponine's standard complaint about cream cheese brownies is "not enough cream cheese, too much brownie," I expect these will go over very well.

Pyrex mixing bowls and silicone spatulas are the best tools EVAR for One-Bowl Brownies.

If I hear a knock at my door... I accept bribes of Tullamore Dew.
